My new contract job is interesting. I like the industry. There's a lot of IT people and programmers. Everyone is friendly, but no one seems to be friends... if that makes any sense. The job is pretty easy and not really challenging, but I find the industry interesting. Hopefully I'll be able to stay around for awhile.

Today is my birthday. I can't believe I'm 36. Don't tell anyone.

My friend Todd and I went to see Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith at midnight last night. It was excellent. I loved it. It was as good as I had hoped and better in a lot of ways. I must see it again.

It sucks to be me. My old ATI Radeon 8500 video card has finally been retired. OK. So I install my new ATI 9600XT graphics card and ATI's web site (www.ati.com) is down so I can't get the newest drivers. I tried going to their old-style ca site, but the download links point back to ati.com. Argh!

I start my new job on Monday... I'm a bit nervous, but also excited. It's a contract position, and I don't know how exactly how long they'll need me for. I don't like have to worry about my own taxes, though. That really sucks. But, anyways, I'm glad to find something that I like.

Well, they finally voted off Scott Savol off American Idol. I do not know how he got as far as he did. Thank you, say no more!
