Wow. I usually did not care for the "mirror universe" episodes on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, but tonight's Star Trek: Enterprise episode "In a Mirror, Darkly" was awesome!

Damn!! My main TiVo (Toshiba SD-H400) in my living room died today while I was watching a DVD. It just turned off like I pulled the power. The fan still spins, but no HD activity. Nothing. IT SUCKS. Of course, they don't make this model anymore and the replacement has a DVD recorder and costs $599! Oh well, on the plus side, I watched American Idol live in HDTV. You forget how crappy the TiVo picture is until you watch an HDTV channel. It's too bad that Charter doesn't have the DVR available yet here otherwise I'd be jumping right on that...

I was bored so I pulled out some of my old adventure games to play. Talk about a blast from the past! I used the ScummVM program to play LucasArts Day of the Tentacle CD. The ScummVM tool even scaled up the graphics so that they looked nice and made the game very playable on my Athlon XP 2500+ PC. Fun!
