Notes
- 1-Hour Season Finale! This episode was the 2nd highest rated NBC program of the week.
- David and Max wrote Part 1; Jeff wrote Part 2.
- Rosario and Jack divorce. Jack gets nothing in the settlement, and he moves in with Will. Will makes a deal to be made a partner and get a raise, but it's unclear if that actually happened.
- Karen mentioned looking at an island in the previous episode, "My Best Friend's Tush".
- Klaus Von Puppy and Guapo both appear in this episode.
- This episode was split into two episodes for syndication. Some scenes were edited or removed in the syndicated versions. (The Season 2 DVD box set has the two individual edited versions, not the hour-long version.)
- Grace reads that "Janet Eisenberg, 33, and David Bromberg, 35, are getting married." Janet Eisenberg is Max Mutchnick's real-life "Grace" and she and David were married that week.
- Stanley Walker's hand was played by executive producer/writer Jeff Greenstein.
