Notes
- This episode is only 28-minutes. It was originally a super-sized episode, but was cut down to accommodate the preceding 32-minute "Friends" episode and so that "The Apprentice" could air at 9:00. Hopefully the full, uncut version will appear on the DVD release (but given Lions Gate's current track record, that is highly unlikely).
- Edie Falco was originally asked to play Ann, but her schedule wouldn't allow it. (She was able to appear a month later as Deirdre in "East Side Story".)
- This episode was a Yahoo! TV Daily Pick.
- Suzanne Pleshette previously appeared as Karen's estranged mother in the 4th season episodes "Someone Old, Someplace New" and "Something Borrowed, Someone's Due".
- A neighbor offers Lois $100,000 more than she paid for her newly decorated apartment. This plants the idea for Will and Grace going into a side business.
- This episode included an end credit for production assistance by IKEA.
