• The crew finds the remains of the U.S.S. Enterprise shuttle Galileo NCC-1701-7. Its warp core is damaged and is leaking plasma and causing sickness amongst the local population, who call themselves Enderprizians.
  
• The Galileo has been broadcasting a distress call for 100 years, sent by Ensign Garrovick. He was seen in the original series episode "Obsession".
  
• The Enderprizians are a pre-warp civilization who have built their society around Starflight, as they learned from Ensign Garrovick before he died.
  
• Murf hasn't been feeling well and at the end of the episode is found to have formed a cocoon affixed to the wall.
  
• Dee Bradley Baker (Murf) also voiced James'T and background Enderprizians.
  
• Ella Purnell (Gwyn) also voiced background Enderprizians.
  
• Fred Tatasciore (Dr. Boons) voices Lt. Shaxs on Star Trek: Lower Decks.
