• Tallinn reveals herself to Renée. To throw Soong off, Tallinn uses her device to disguise herself as Renée. Soong poisons her.
  
• Kore deletes Soong's computer data, but he has a physical folder titled Project Khan.
  
• Wesley Crusher appears as a "traveler" and reveals it is he and his colleagues who dispatch the superviors (watchers). He recruits Kore to join them.
  
• Q reveals to Picard he is dying and he is alone. He did not want that for Picard. As his last act, he sends the crew back to the Stargazer, but Rios decides to remain in 2024 with Teresa and Ricardo.
  
• On the Stargazer, Picard stops the auto-destruct and the Borg Queen reveals herself to be Agnes Jurati. The Borg are there to stop a fissure from destroying the quadrant, but she needs Starfleet's help. She takes control of the fleet and engages their shields in a blockade.
  
• With Rios missing, Picard gives Seven a field commission to captain.
  
• When Q restores the timeline, Elnor reappears on the U.S.S. Excelsior.
  
• The Borg request provisional Federation membership while they guard the fissure.
  
• This episode debuted simultaneously with the Strange New Worlds series premiere.
  
• Cast members Alison Pill, Evan Evagora, Santiago Cabrera, and Isa Briones revealed after this episode aired that this was the end of their story arcs and they will not appear in Season 3. (Jeri Ryan and Michelle Hurd are both confirmed to appear in Season 3.)
