  • Seven reveals she attempted to join Starfleet after Voyager returned to the Alpha Quadrant, but they wouldn't accept her because she was Borg. Janeway went to bat for her, even threatened to resign, but Seven gave it up and decided to join the Fenris Rangers instead.
  • The catacombs underneath the Château were used during WWII by the French to hide munitions from the Germans. They are dangerous and Picard's father forbid him from playing down there.
  • In Picard's memory, he remembers playing hide and seek with his mother in the catacombs. His father locked her in her room for her own safety, but Jean-Luc let her out. She later hanged herself.
  • Picard tells Tallinn he blocked that out of his mind, and used to think of his mother as an old woman offering him tea. In the Next Generation episode "Where No One Has Gone Before", Picard has a vision of his elderly mother offering him tea.
  • Evan Evagora (Elnor) appears as an emergency security hologram on La Sirena, created by Jurati to slow down the Borg.
  • Jurati seemingly convinces the Borg Queen they can be a force for good, to offer second chances instead of conquering. They take the ship and warp away, presumably for the Delta Quadrant, leaving the rest of the crew behind to deal with Soong.
