Lieutenant Shaxs served as the head of security on the U.S.S. Cerritos in 2380. He was Bajoran, and had a thirst for combat.Shaxs was part of the Bajoran resistance to the Cardassian occupation, and he was a friend of Colonel Kira Nerys, commanding officer of station Deep Space 9.
In 2380, he was killed in action during the Pakled incident in the Kalla system while assisting Ensign Sam Rutherford in planting a virus aboard the Pakled vessel. He was subsequently revived and returned to duty on the U.S.S. Cerritos in 2381. Details are classifed.
