• Asencia triggers the Diviner's memories. They are discovered by Janeway, and the Diviner knocks her unconscious.
  
• The Protostar accidentally arrived at future Solum via a temporal anomaly, and was captured by the Vau N'Akat. They placed their last weapon on board and were going to use it to get revenge on the Federation. Before they could leave, Captain Chakotay sent the ship back into the wormhole. The Diviner and the Vau N'Akat followed in their own ships to capture the Protostar and complete their mission.
